   <li><span itemprop="ingredients">2 cups all-purpose flour</span></li>

   <li><span itemprop="ingredients">1 cup croissant dough store-bought or homemade</span></li>

   <li><span itemprop="ingredients">Vegetable oil, for frying</span></li>

   <li><span itemprop="ingredients">1/2 cup powdered sugar</span></li>

   <li><span itemprop="ingredients">1 teaspoon vanilla extract</span></li>

   <li><span itemprop="ingredients">2 tablespoons milk</span></li>

   <li><span itemprop="ingredients">1/4 cup chocolate chips optional, for glaze</span></li>

   <li><span itemprop="ingredients">1/4 cup chopped nuts optional, for garnish</span></li>

  <h3>Instructions:</h3>

     <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">After dissolving the yeast in the warm water, let it sit until foamy, about five minutes</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Put the melted butter, sugar, and warm milk in a mixing bowl</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Stir in the yeast mixture</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Add the all-purpose flour gradually and stir until a dough forms</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">To make the dough smooth, knead it for five minutes</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Once the dough has doubled in size, cover it and allow it to rise for one hour</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">The croissant dough should be rolled out and folded over the risen dough</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Again, roll it out and fold it</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Do this twice more</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Using a donut cutter, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/2 inch, then cut out cronut shapes</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil to 350F 175C</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Once golden brown, fry the cronuts in batches for two to three minutes on each side</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">blot with paper towels</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">To make the glaze, combine milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar in a bowl</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Melt chocolate chips if you want to make a chocolate glaze</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Let the excess glaze drop off the cooled cronuts as you dip them in it</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Enjoy your freshly made cronuts after letting the glaze set for a few minutes!</span></p>
